Our trip to Canada was very special because of the different accommodations where we stayed, Canada allows you to sleep from a skyscraper to a tent in the middle of the forest, a plus for trips with children.

At Omega Park we stayed in a log cabin in the middle of the forest. It was charming, on the outside built with large logs of natural wood, with a barbecue and an ecological bathroom that amazed our kids and that they knew how to use faster than us. Inside we were surprised by a large bunk bed composed of 3 double beds. Well equipped with a fridge, tables and chairs for breakfast and lunch on the wooden balcony enjoying the views of the Canadian forest. Link to Omega Park accommodations.

In Mont Tremblant National Park we spent two days in a tent in the middle of nature. A huge tent already set up called Huttopia. Inside it had a well equipped kitchen, a small living room with a table, chairs and two double rooms. Just in front of the tent there was a barbecue with a table and picnic benches.

HERE YOU MAY NEED SOME OF THE THINGS WE USE WHEN WE GO CAMPING.

As a curiosity the fridge had a padlock and on the door a warning that some animal could enter following the smell of food with a picture of a raccoon opening the fridge.

The Sacacomie Hotel was an impressive wooden hotel built in the middle of the forest right next to a lake, offering a multitude of water activities such as a ride on the lake in an Indian canoe, by boat or seaplane.

To reach the hotel from the lake there are trails that run through the forest. A beautiful excursion to do with the family.

We stayed in a spacious and well-appointed family room, all wood with two double beds and an amazing balcony overlooking the lake.

Another of the hotel's jewels is its magnificentoutdoor spa. A large spa with all kinds of jet pools. At the entrance to the spa was a large indoor pool overlooking the lake. Link Hotel Sacacomie.

In addition to the incredible natural areas, Canada has cosmopolitan cities like Toronto. In this city we stayed in a skyscraper apartment complete with bathroom, kitchen and two double rooms. The location was excellent to go for a walk and discover the Downtown and the harbor area of Toronto without having to use any transportation.

It was amazing to see the views of the skyscraper area from our window and to be aware that we were standing between one of those tiny windows you see from those giant buildings.

As good travel and accommodation trackers, we found an incredible deal at one of the world's leading hotel chains. The Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. The hotel's unmistakable castle-like architecture was incredibly located on Parliament Hill, right next to Canada's beautiful Parliament House. One of the most visited places in the city. In addition to enjoying a room worthy of a castle with wide and high beds, a giant TV and a bathroom where you could dance! We could also enjoy its incredible indoor pool, after getting lost in its labyrinthine corridors. Here is the link to the hotel!
